For Mother’s Day this past weekend I was treated to a day out with my family. Today we decided to take a trip to the Fort Nisqually Living History Museum. I am fortunate to be able to walk to work everyday, and everyday I follow the same path, down Broadway. The venue made it simple to make this Mother’s Day unique by offering a VIP package of great seats, flowers, chocolate and champagne after the show.

With the Puget Sound water being rather chilly, I seldom partake in water sports, however after my parasailing experience I might have to change that. There is that saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” as is the art of graffiti. While some consider it to be an act of vandalism others see it as an art form beautiful in it’s own right and worthy of exhibition. Read the rest of Writing on a Wall - Tacoma, Market Street »

One of my good friends from Cleveland has been in town this week to visit. Today I realized that before Katie departs from Tacoma, I needed to take her to one of the jewels of this city, the Ruston Way Waterfront. Between the fabulous restaurants and scenery, we were able to spend all afternoon enjoying the sunshine and some appetizers and cocktails. What we decided makes Ruston Way a unique location is that there is 2 miles of paved sidewalk that Read the rest of Ruston Way Waterfront - Walking, Jogging, Brunch and more! »
